Local Authority / County Council Emergency Line

Some local authorities / county councils need to provide an emergency / after hours service and this is where Pageboy Contact Centre comes in to its own.

We have been working for many years now with local authorities and county councils around the county delivering a back up service and this has been very effective.

The aim of providing this service is to enable the mobilisation of all necessary resources, especially in the event of a major incident.

In the past we have dealt with major incidents like:

• Flooding - Burst water mains
• The allocation of sand bags
• Water shortages - to disperse water tankers to specific areas / regions
• Road traffic emergencies
• Fire incidents
• Sewerage issues
• Electrical issues
• Storm damage
• Illegal Dumping
• Gas mains issues

Each of the divisions we deal with have their own emergency plans in place so following the rota is imperative. We are the communication channel by which these incidents are reported and we are responsible for alerting the relevant authority to the incident.

Communication is paramount in making sure that the service is delivered in a professional and efficient manner.
